Terms of Service

OccupAI provides real-time occupancy intelligence through on-premise AI processing. We analyze traffic patterns, optimize staffing decisions, enhance marketing inventory management, and help you understand customer flow - all while maintaining complete privacy.

Our service includes edge computing devices, cloud-based analytics dashboard, API access, and optional integrations with your existing business systems.

You grant OccupAI permission to:

• Connect our edge devices to your local network via secure protocols
• Access video streams from your existing IP cameras with read-only permissions
• Process video data locally to extract occupancy metrics
• Transmit only numerical occupancy data to our secure cloud servers

We maintain read-only access and cannot modify, delete, or interfere with your camera systems or network operations. All connections use encrypted protocols and authentication.

With your explicit authorization, we may connect to your POS systems (Square, Clover, Toast, etc.) through official APIs with read-only access to:

• Transaction timestamps and amounts (no payment details)
• Order volumes and timing patterns
• Average ticket sizes and sales metrics

We never access customer payment information, credit card details, or personally identifiable information. All POS integrations are optional and can be revoked at any time.

We utilize foundational AI models combined with your occupancy data to deliver:

• Predictive traffic patterns and peak hour forecasting
• Optimal staffing recommendations based on historical patterns
• Marketing inventory management and campaign timing
• Capacity optimization and space utilization insights

Your data is used to train models specific to your business patterns. Aggregated, anonymized data may be used to improve our general models, but your specific business data is never shared with other customers.

You may choose to display real-time occupancy information publicly through:

• Integration with your social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, Google Business)
• Our mobile platform for customer-facing occupancy checks
• Your website through our embed widgets
• Third-party platforms via our API

You control what information is displayed publicly and can configure display settings, hours of operation, and privacy levels through your dashboard. Public display features are optional and can be disabled.

You retain all rights to your business data. OccupAI is granted a limited license to process and analyze your data solely for providing our services to you.

You can export your historical data at any time and request deletion of all your information upon service termination. We retain aggregated, anonymized insights for service improvement but never share identifiable business data.

OccupAI provides insights and recommendations based on AI analysis. While we strive for accuracy, all predictions and recommendations should be considered alongside your business expertise.

Our service requires stable internet connectivity and functioning camera systems. We are not responsible for issues arising from network outages, camera failures, or third-party integration disruptions.

Maximum liability is limited to the fees paid for our service in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days notice. Upon cancellation, we will cease data collection, remove our edge devices (if leased), and provide you with an export of your historical data.

We reserve the right to terminate service for violations of these terms, non-payment, or activities that compromise system security or integrity.
